Welcome to EGO

EGO Gaming was built by two guys who grew up loving competition, connection, and the grind of getting better — Micah Lawrence and Jalen Revels.

They didn’t just want another gaming spot; they wanted to create a community — a place where skill meets purpose, and gamers of all levels feel at home. From late-night ideas to full-on tournaments, Micah and Jalen have poured themselves into every part of EGO, building something that feels more like family than business.

Micah brings years of esports and tech experience, while Jalen’s energy, leadership, and love for people drive the vibe that makes the lounge what it is. Together, they’ve turned a simple idea — “what if gaming could change lives?” — into a movement that’s growing one match, one memory, and one player at a time.

Voices of the Community with

Each voice you’ll hear below comes from someone who’s seen the vision up close—whether through tournaments, community events, or those long nights where ideas turn into action. These stories capture what makes EGO special: connection, creativity, and the drive to make gaming mean something more.

Gaming Friend & Co-Leader — Haider

Haider’s been more than just a teammate — he’s been a brother in the grind. As a guild co-leader in Black Desert Online, he helped shape the kind of teamwork, leadership, and loyalty that became the foundation for what EGO Gaming is all about today.

Through long nights raiding, strategizing, and leading the guild to victories, Haider showed what it means to combine skill with heart. His voice note reflects not just our gaming history, but the connection that built the EGO community from the ground up.

Gaming Friend & Raider — Aoukie

Ouf, how did we even meet again? Oh right — it was during a trade-back run on ArcheAge 3.0. Pretty sure it took about 500 messages just to get through that cross-faction symbol filter while you were trying to drag me into Discord. That’s when it all started.

If I had to describe you, I’d say workaholic — no question. Whether it’s in game or real life, you’ll put in 500 hours if that’s what it takes to get it right.

The thing that sticks with me most? Your ArcheAge obsession. Somehow, every single fresh-start server, you find a way to convince me to come back and play again.

As a fellow gamer, I’ve gotta say — you play way too many games, but honestly, that’s part of what makes you, you.

“PLAY FINAL FANTASY ALREADY. STOP STALLING. IT’S ABOUT TIME.”

Much love, brother man — now I’ve got a raid to catch.

Lifelong Friend & Teammate — Pray

Funny story — Micah and I actually met through a mutual friend I’d met on Minecraft. One day that friend asked me to play League of Legends with them. I had no idea what I was doing at first, but I couldn’t stop playing — and that’s how it all started.

If I had to describe Micah, I’d say he’s strong-willed and goal-driven. He’s been competitive since the day I met him, but never without purpose. There’s always intention behind it, and that’s something I’ve always admired deeply.

There’s not just one experience that stands out — he’s simply the kind of person who’s there when you need him. Micah’s presence is something everyone could benefit from having in their life.

As someone who’s played with him most of my life, I can confidently say he’s one of the most well-rounded players I know — easy to get along with, fiercely competitive, but always humble in both victory and defeat.

Micah’s been through a lot, but there’s nothing that’s ever kept him down.
To me, he’s not just a friend or a teammate — he’s a mentor, an example, and a brother.
